Beko
So what about Beko? Is Beko one of the subsidiaries of this Bosch and Siemens partnership?
No, Beko is actually owned by Koç Holding. They are an appliance brand from Turkey, founded in 1955.
While many people think that Beko is under the umbrella of Bosch, it still operates under the same company that it did at the beginning.
Beko is named after its two founders who also founded Koç Holding.
In 2010 the electronics division of Beko was renamed. This new name is Grundig Elektronik. This new division of Beko now makes most of the electronics components in Beko appliances.
However, the company has very much stayed the same since 1954, they just contribute more to the home appliance market now.
