Rangemaster Kitchener 90 – Should You Buy One?

Today we’re continuing our range cooker obsession with one of the best-known range cookers in the world: The Rangemaster Kitchener 90.

Below, we’re going to look at this fantastic cooker and find out how versatile it is and whether or not you should own one.

If you’ve been looking at Rangemaster Kitcheners and dream of owning one, this is the article for you. Here’s everything you need to know about the Rangemaster Kitchener 90.

Rangemaster has been around for, give or take, two hundred years. The Rangemaster Kitchener range has been around since 1830. That’s a long time!

Now, the original Kitchener did look far more like an AGA than the Kitchener 90 that we’re going to talk about today. Even still, this range of cookers from Rangemaster perfectly sums up this company’s attitude towards cooking equipment.

Since Rangemaster started, it has been pushing the cooking world forward. Rangemaster has invented much of the cooking tech that you’ve ever used.

But what does this mean for the Rangemaster Kitchener 90? Well, the Kitchener range has always been at the forefront of this invention. So, when you buy a Kitchener, you’re buying two hundred years of cooking evolution. So, right now, the Kitchener is one of the best range cookers in the world.

What Can the Rangemaster Kitchener 90 Do?

  • Burners: 5 gas burners, including a wok burner
  • Ovens: 2 electric ovens (capacity: 79 litres, 67 litres)
  • Grill: 1 electric grill
  • Dimensions: 90.5 cm high x 90 cm wide x 60.4 cm deep

This range cooker has five burners, either gas or ceramic. It is also 90cm wide and tall. It has two ovens and a separate grill.

This makes the Rangemaster Kitchener 90 a fantastically versatile cooker that can do so much. Thanks to the size of the Kitchener 90, it is also a fantastic cooker for a passionate chef in a smaller kitchen.

You can easily make a roast dinner with all the trimmings with the 90 and have room for dessert. Literally! You can cook the roast lamb in one oven and still have an oven to cook a cake in for dessert.

The burner provides able space for all of the veggies, and the grill can be used to cook a quick snack while you enjoy making your roast.

This range cooker has plenty of options too. You can get all-gas models, dual-fuel models and ceramic models too. There’s also a choice of colours and Rangemaster also makes a Kitchener 100 and 110.

The Kitchener range also sports fanned ovens (both of the ovens on the 90 are fanned). The left oven also has catalytic liners so clean up is nice and simple. And just to top the Kitchener range off nicely, the 90 also has an A energy rating.

So, now you know some specs of the Rangemaster Kitchener 90 and just how versatile it is, should you buy one? This range cooker may have been on your wishlist for years, but can you justify buying one? Well, let’s find out.

Should You Buy a Rangemaster Kitchener 90?

One of my favourite things about the Rangemaster Kitchener 90 is just how compact it is. It is a range cooker with all of the amazing features of the Kitchener range but in a tiny package (in comparison to other Rangemaster models).

This means that this range cooker can fit into any kitchen, but you don’t have to compromise on quality.

The 90 is still made with a cast-iron frame. It still has all of the trimmings that make this model of range cooker so visually appealing. Plus, it has all of the features you could ever want in a cooker.

If you love cooking and have always wanted a range cooker but have lacked the space, this is the ideal range for you.

Rangemaster have worked hard to ensure that the 90 provides everything a passionate cook could want in a cooker that won’t take up your entire kitchen. It is amazingly well made and very reasonably priced for all the features.

So, should you buy a Rangemaster Kitchener 90? Well, I am biased. You see, the 90 (and the Kitchener range in general) is one of my favourite range cookers of all time. This model started my obsession with range cookers many years ago.

If you look cooking and want a fantastic range cooker that is well built and has all of the features to help you grow and learn as a chef, the Rangemaster Kitchener 90 is the perfect tool for the job.
